Bar and bat mitzvahs are among my most favorite photography projects. These children are at an age when they are still so wonderfully sincere and innocent. How I love to catch them in those final moments of childhood, standing on the very threshold of adult life, and to capture those last and lasting impressions of their childhood joy. The photos you see are a sampling of my work at a bar mitzvah in December of 2018, in Houston, Texas.
